Mobile - Creation of Majority of Features
Project Overview
My Involvement: Independent full audit of small amount of existing screens. Lead Interviews, User Flow, Design Studio, UI Elements, Usability testing and participated in all other aspects with team members.
Design Tools Used: Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Principle (see video)
Time: 2 months (weekly design sprints & deliverables)
Background
The Swoonbox application is an event based dating mobile application that allows users to match with other users based on preferences and liked events. There is in-app purchasing of tickets and the ability to upload previously bought tickets that allows users to offer tickets for a potential date.
Problem
The Swoonbox application was originally created with minimal design for the purpose to present that idea of the application. My team was hired to perform UX research and designs and provide a fully functional prototype with all UI elements.
Solution
Platform: Mobile using iOS elements due to iOS first deployment
Features: (1) Facebook Sign-up/Login; (2) Progressive On-boarding; (3) Event and User Profiles with Liking and Disliking abilities; (4) Messaging; and (5) Ticket Purchasing/Offering/Uploading.

Research
The first phase of research consisted of the following methods:
Interviews, Competitive Analysis, and Comparative Analysis. This was repeated several times for each feature noted above.
Research Synthesis
The second phase of research was to synthesize insights which consisted of the following methods:
Affinity Mapping, Persona Generation, Task Flow, User Flow and User Journey. Much of this was created before my joining the project.
Design
The Design process included:
Design Studio, Feature Prioritization (MoSCoW), Low/High Fidelity Wireframing, and Prototype Testing and Iterations.
Design Studio
Below are just some examples of our quick sketches that lead to the Hi-Fidelity screens.
